Texan “countrypolitan” singer Johnny Lee Ham toured with Mickey Gilley for ten years and then hit the big time when his song “Lookin’ for Love” appeared on the hit movie Urban Cowboy soundtrack. He went on to rack up a series of country hits in the early and mid-eighties and recorded several fine albums. This compilation provides a nice overview of those recordings.
